We drove to Columbus Friday and I got to see my son and his tuba with the marching band at their game. My only chance to see him this season with my school schedule and all.

Hard to believe it was just 3 short years ago he was a Freshman marching on the field for the first time.

I bought a new camera to keep in my purse all the time. I love, love, love my Canon, but I've been wanting a compact to keep in my purse and decided to be selfish (imagine that!) and spent the balance of my Amazon gift cards on a little Panasonic that gets great reviews. I'm so excited. I ended up spending right at $40 for a $200 camera.

We got some things moved around today, and actually made enough space to park one of the cars in the garage! There isn't too much left to do, and we should be able to have both cars in the garage, and the riding mower out in the shed where it belongs before the end of the week. This will be my first winter ever of not scraping ice every morning.

Aaand, the funky old work bench that we took out of the garage will make a perfect potting bench with just a few tweaks, and will be receiving the old sink and faucet that I'll be tearing out of the kitchen tomorrow.
