(500) Days of Summer is great. Right up there with Annie Hall and When Harry Met Sally as far as romantic comedies. Plus, there's karaoke to The Pixies and The Clash.

Spitty, thanks for the reminder, I need to add that to the NetFlix queue.

We watched Shutter Island the other day. It was actually pretty decent. Not as scary as the trailers make it look - it's more of a mind bender type thing.

I watched Ghost Town this last week. I was a bit put off by the way they portrayed hospital personnel. The doctor/surgeon was played as valley girl-lite. Beyond that, I enjoyed the movie. Ricky Gervais is always funny to me.

I took myself to Alice In Wonderland, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Visually, it's very attention grabbing, especially when Alice first goes through the little door. All of the characters were interesting and well played. Might even go back for another viewing before it leaves the theater.

I want to see Alice again, but at home with subtitles. I subtitles on DVDs.

Me too. I put subtitles on everything I watch.

We watched World's Greatest Dad last night. It was different, and I actually liked it quite a bit, though I could have lived the rest of my life without seeing a shot of Robyn Williams' junk. Weird fact: it was written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwaite.

We just watched Up In The Air. I absolutely loved it. And I am not even a George Clooney fan.

I loved Zombieland. I thought it was cute. A cute zombie movie. I'm a weird girl.

Josh keeps trying to get me to watch Zombieland. I just haven't been in the mood, although I loved Shaun of the Dead.

Hurt Locker. Definitely a good movie, but I don't know if it was the best movie of the year.

It's not that much fun to watch war movies with a veteran, he kept pointing out things you'd never do.

The Hangover. It was stupid, ridiculous and a total boy movie.

So of course, I laughed my ass off.

Has anyone seen Revolutionary Road? I've got it sitting here but haven't watched it yet. Also trying to make time to watch Rachel Getting Married.

I The Hangover!

I really liked Revolutionary Road, but when I saw the movie I hadn't read the book yet, so (without being blunt about spoilers) I wasn't prepared for how bummed out it would leave me.

In other words, I wouldn't recommend watching it if you're already in a semi-depressed mood (which I was).
